Best part of this for me is that I drafted Aho in the 6th round in my fantasy hockey league and one of my league mates who is an Islanders fan literally laughed at me and called it the biggest reach in the history of our league. Well here we are and I'm also $2,000 richer

I'm starting to think more and more than the Stars are going to end up signing Zucc. He's really an integral piece in their lineup. I dunno, I had my doubts even a week ago but not anymore. I think he signs there and indirectly it helps us get a better draft pick. What do you guys think?

I agree. Stars biggest weakness is scoring beyond Benn, Seguin and Radulov and off the top of my head I doubt they have the cap space to big game hunting for Duchene, Panarin, Karlsson, etc.

Plus Nill has a tight window here before Heiskanen is due for a monster extension so he is all in. His job might be on the line if they don't win a Cup so that pick is probably the furthest thing on his mind

I think it would behoove them to keep Zucc and add another forward.

Too bad their system is horrible, I know a winger who would fit them like a glove.

50/50 Probaby. You're right tho he completes that top 6 for Dallas. I think are best shot at the extra first still is right here right now with Dallas finding a way to the wcf

What is happening to the Islanders is what happened to us in 2012 against the Devils. You can only outwork your opponent for so long before the lack of offensive skill catches up to you. Then you get swarmed.

This is why the rebuild was so important. We needed to draft and develop talented forwards so badly.
