Around the NHL: Part We Get Literally No Help

How the hell are the Sabres 3 points back of us? 2 games in hand but still... Rangers really need to beat the Sabres and Devils. Letting either catch us would just be totally embarrassing.

It's a good thing (or a terrible thing) that the Rangers fate is still in their own hands, because oh boy are they getting no help.

Classy move here by the two teams.

Its kinda sad and embarrassing we are in this mediocre position yet again :shakehead

Good I am glad they are getting no help. Its time for them to get their **** together instead of backing into playoffs. We need to somehow find a way to jump into 7th or 6th spot because Penguins will be putting up 3-4 goals easy every night in the playoffs. Just a matter of whether the team they are playing can outscore that. You think we can ??? :sarcasm:

Sens fan coming in peace. I think you guys will make the playoffs handily just because of how easy your schedule is. I know anyone can beat anyone on any given day or night but the panthers and devils are so horrible right now that talent should win you those games alone.

Sure the panthers beat you guys but you horribly outplayed them and those things tend to even out. Hoping you guys make the playoffs as the 8th seed and knock off the Penguins. I can't stand them because of Cooke on Karlsson not to mention they are so arrogant like Torts said last season. Good luck the rest of the way and hopefully Ottawa and the rangers can both make it in. That series was one of the most underrated ones we had with you guys last year.

For me, the major lesson learned this season is that it is EASY to make the playoffs. The Rangers have looked awful to me, basically all season, and they really are still in good shape. Outside of the Islanders game, they've lost pretty much every "big" game, in addition to a slew of games that they were just outright expected to win (Philly early, injured Buffalo, Florida) and they're still right there. And this in a shortened, more "intense" season.

That all probably changes next season, but damn.

I love that Montreal and Ottawa didn't start to fall apart until we finished all the games against them -_-

Its ok we would just help them find their game again. what are we 0-5 or 0-6 in Canada this year?

Sami Vatanen, RH Dman for Anaheim scores his first NHL goal. 4th rounder 2009.

Montreal looking horrible since Emelin went down.

Brenden Morrow with 2 goals, 1 assist and a fight. 4 goals in his last 2 games. 5 in his last 4 games. Pens have not lost since they lost 6-1 at MSG.

It would be typical Rangers to lose tomorrow and Winnipeg win.

I have no confidence in this team, and it's a depressing state to be in. Haven't felt like this under the John Tortorella reign until this season. Even down 2-1 in 2011 playoffs or 3-2 in 2012 playoffs I felt fine cause those teams had heart. Something happened...(and it wasn't losing Dubi, Arty, Prust and Feds)

Our season will come down to the last game of the season against Devils.
