I would love to see us take the next couple of games that seriously. The Canes largely embarrassed us last game in game play, maybe not in score. I want to see the Rangers step on the Canes' necks.

He even wore an 'A' for Team Sweden, a team full of veteran superstars. There just must be some special leadership quality about him...
The Rangers have had some fantastic responses to subpar games against inferior teams. The game against the Oilers recently is an example. They literally schooled the Oilers. The D of the Rangers made the Oilers look like an ECHL team. Ditto for the 7-1 win against Toronto after we lost a heartless game against the Pens.
Anyone else starting to hate Bruins fans? They seem more arrogant and entitled than even Penguins fans. Not shocking considering many of them are Patriots fans.

Many people think the same about Yankees and Giants fans. It's all about perspective.
The last 10 or so years, Boston has been Titletown USA. Alot of frontrunners are going to come out of the woodwork, and the loudest fans are often the least knowledgible. The squeaky wheel gets the grease and whatnot.

These are the kinds of hits that the NHL really needs to lay the hammer down on. Known ******* with a history of bad hits jumping into the head of a defenseless player. It doesn't get any clearer than this. Give this moron 41 games plus playoffs and see how he likes taking home half of what he normally does over the course of a season. It's obvious that "respect for the game" doesn't exist for some of these players, and the only way to get through to them is to hit them in the wallet.

Wow. Targets the head, gets nothing but the head, and leaves his feet to boot. I will never understand these kinds of plays. It is so possible to play a hard nosed game without ever throwing a hit like that. I mean the guy is concussed, why injure someone and head hunt like that when you're up 4-0? Things like that cannot be in the game, and I think he should at least get 20 games.

I agree with you, but I doubt the NHLPA would go along with a suspension like that and THAT is the problem. Until the NHL/NHLPA can agree that hits like this warrant long suspensions instead of this 2 and 3 game stuff then it's not going to stop.
