Do you really think that a team committed to Been, Seguin, Radulov and Bishop, that makes a run to the Conference not paying the price of an additional 1st to keep an important player like Zuccarello to keep that team together? I don’t.

Not to say its impossible, but hitting the conditions on both of those picks instantly makes that arguably one of the best trades in Rangers history.

So happy the Tank Machine dropped. Good riddance.

Buffalo Top 3 pick?

After much success last night, we have plenty to root for starting tonight. It should be a fun playoffs. Here's hoping we add a couple of more first round picks.

The first of the Dallas 1sts would be a 28-31. That's not prohibitive. It would validate the trade and the strength of the team going forward thereby projecting the next 1st to be lower as well.

We get a bit of an echo chamber here that inflates the value of picks. Dallas sells out, but their ticket prices are somewhat reasonable for the fan. Dallas doesn't clear a huge profit. Playoff revenue is necessary to generate profits there. The owner would be more than happy to trade in a few picks for several playoff games. The costs are sunk, just a matter of one pick being in the 45-55 range, or a 28. The next year is a 3rd or a 1st round.

goal on 1st shot, unsteady 1st save. Bobrovksy is at it again.
