Florida with a rare good period 2-1 lead vs Toronto and one in the post - should be 3-1.
 
Sens up in Carolina (Canes starting to suck again lol). Hopefully the Panthers can hold on to their 2-1 lead.
 
Sam Reinhart should be scratched for the game-winner. 3rd period, tied game, Sabres outnumber the Canucks 4 to 2. Shit just cannot happen.

Canadiens, Penguins, and Islanders all won tonight. If the Sabres miss the playoffs that will DEFINITELY be one of the plays they remember from this season.

Most of the Isles fans I knew crawled back into the woodwork since their hay day in the 80's.

Thinking back, how many penguins fans were there before the Crosby gift and a cup win.

Penguins almost up-and-moved twice because fans didnt show up when they werent gifted generational talent.

Islanders even when they win now can't get people in their building, and the team has been a homeless nomad for years now.

Two garbage fan bases.

Move them both to Hamilton & Quebec City, where they will get real support.

The NHL can't afford 2 more Canadian teams with the current financial situation

Real support does not necessarily equal dollars. Look at Winnipeg.

Most teams will suffer huge losses of fan support if the team is never good. IIRC, the Oilers, Flames, and Canucks were all in danger of relocating at various points in time (probably the 90s.)

Devils roster is garbage. Without Hall they will probably finish with fewer points than us even if we don't have zucc and/or Hayes.They need Blackwood to be their savior right now lol

Speak for yourself. If I have to see any more metro teams win the cup (flyers, devils, islanders) it will not be easy to take. It was enough having them pick 1/2 in the draft. Just glad it wasn't the Mcdavid or Matthews draft.

Was just about to say this. They are absolutely terrible and i'm so pissed that they are going to get a better pick than us. f***ers already won the lottery twice in the last 6 years too. Our only hope at Hughes or Kakko is winning the lottery.

I think you're right many pundits were picking the Kings to be a decent team this year. They have played better lately...just saw they are losing 5-0. Horrible start to the scoreboard watching
 
Also Av's goal announcements rival the Islanders one for annoyance levels.

But the Mario power-up when coming back from shorthanded makes up for it.

Hall has to come back ASAP and help them get back into the 10-15 range somehow. Otherwise they finish with a better pick than us.

It's frustrating man i know. Just gotta be a little patient at least for this year. Hopefully, we get into a top 5/6/7 pick. There is no way we are the worst team in the league like some people think
