good game between Ducks and Hawks. Sharks and Oilers are chippy as well..

since the Rangers PP is not that good, does anyone think that it is the teams gameplan to take penalties and kill the NYR momentum..

It allows teams to test the limits of the officials knowing that the Rangers power play isn't a threat. They may end up taking a few extra penalties agains us, but in the process will have gotten away with extra hooks, holds and picks.

Absolutely. How often do we hear the Rangers talk about the importance of staying out of the box when preparing for games against certain teams? It's a key focus in many nights. I can't imagine that's more than an afterthought when other teams are playing against us. Sure, nobody wants to take dumb penalties and give any team too many power play opportunities...but it's certainly not close to the top objective entering a game against us.

So Toronto recalled Hamilton, their captain in the AHL who already has 30 goals prior to Lupul's hearing even. They have enough forwards already before the call-up to cover if Lupul is suspended. Hamilton requires waivers to go back down. Trade imminent?

Won't this count as an emergency recall?

Fatso scores a goal.. does anyone know how it happened. delayed penalty???

OT: Marty Brodeur gets a hat trick

Well, not a hat trick this game, but a hat trick for his career. He's the Wayne Gretzky of goalies!

Kaleta must have done something stupid. he never fights...

Typical lucky Devils goal.

It's amazing how our everything breaks right for our rival right across the street, yet nothing seems to go well for us.

Kadri is ahead of Kreider in development. He looked like crap only a year ago, but he grew up mentally and emotionally since then and now his talent shines.
Carlyle encourages him to go for it, from what I have seen.
Kadri has a great attitude now.

Might have something to do with Lamoriello, no? He gets Loctionov from the Kings for a low pick and the guy now has 5 goals!

The Staal brothers are wearing visors from now on. Marc was the guinea pig. Its going to be 3 weeks this Tuesday since Marc was hit by the puck. The Rangers really miss him.
