For all you boys and girls who thought Shane Doan was "washed up" this summer, he had 11 shots, 13 hits and two goals tonight. Now has 11 goals on the season. First time in 8 years that a player has had double digit shots and hits in the same game. (Too bad the supporting cast is weak)

Hurricanes D-man Justin Faulk out 2-4 weeks with a 2nd degree MCL sprain (no surgery). Tough blow for Carolina in midst of a playoff chase.

Plus he should have had a fight, Muzzin 'muzzed' out after kneeing Doan. Look for a fine or suspension.
