Tonight wasn't suppose to be a win though. Bruins are 14-2-2 at home this year. Isles aren't good enough to really get a win like that. Boston was bad tonight and the Isles took advantage.

Islanders deserve nothing. Lets hope the universe corrects itself.

They are winning games. Winning games they have to and winning games they shouldn't have. 8-1-1 in their last 10. The Rangers this year aren't winning games they should have and losing games they shouldnt have. RIGHT NOW they are the better team.
 
Literally everything could have gone wrong for the Rangers, did tonight.

Winnipeg won
Ottawa won
Islanders won

I don't even know why I follow. The whole season is coming down to that last game against the Devils.
 
Man before I didn't really care if the Islanders made the playoffs, as long as we did too. But now, after watching their games and post game tonight, I want them to miss it. Howie and Butch talking as if their playoff spot is clinched already, saying they're happy for them, and how great the Coliseum is in the playoffs. As far as I can see in the standings, they're 2 points up on the 9th place team (Winnipeg). I know they're excited, but they shouldn't get ahead of themselves it's very irritating. Focus in the playoff race, don't act like they've clinched a spot

I'm no fanboy, I've been killing the Rangers all year. I'm as negative as anyone.

I do think the Isles and Sens and everyone we're battling with will finish ahead of us. Islanders are still lucky as can be though.

"Grow up" is completley uncalled for. I probably should calm down though, since I'm losing my mind on a nightly basis from all this ****.

Holy ****....reading the last few threads here makes it sound like we're 4 points back of a PO spot with only 8 games left and the other teams have games in hand on us!!!

Geesh. I am a realist....and many times a pessimist to a fault (espcially when it comes to our Rangers), but **** Chr*sts sake.....you would think we are almost mathematically eliminated already. LOL

We're going into the the Mausoleoum and comming out with big W this Saturday night. Are the Isles playing well? Sure they are. Have they won and ran off these games against a very "soft" part of their schedule. F8ck yea they have. Look at the teams they've beaten. Philly twice (who hasn't), the Debbies who can't score, Winnipeg (during their tailspin), etc etc

Saturday Night....it Begins. Let's bring this On and put these Fishticks Frontrunners to rest:yo:

This is a good point. Plus, if we can beat NYI at home on Saturday, we tie them in points and still have a game in hand on them. That's why Saturday is so huge.

Tied with points with WPG and 2 games in hand.


Sure, we'd prefer these teams lose, but it's not like we're 4 points out and they keep winning. We're in the thick of it, Rangers destiny is in their own hands.

Yup this is what I'm saying. They've been up and down all year. Those games in hand are great but you gotta actually do something with them. They've done nothing to instill confidence in me.
 
I predict a over 9,000 loss. The Islanders take over MSG, Rangers move to Barclay instead.

this is the problem. we just can't get on a streak. we'd be in toronto's position right now if we had one ****ing decent streak this season.

8 games left. not a duanting schedule. there is no excuse but i know we will **** up at least a couple of the games.

keep in mind 8th is basically a blackhole as well cause we'd get likely destroyed by Pitt (even though we played them pretty good the 2 games with our new lineup)

montreal is montreal

washington is so hot right now im even scared of them
 
I think Hank is going to have a Monster game at the Mausoleum on Saturday. It'll be up to the rest of the team to back it up.

Some of you need to calm down.

And to the guy who plans on invading the Mausoleum, I wish you good luck finding tickets and not getting broke.

Things haven't gone our way all season, it's not like this is a rare occurrence so far this season.

Honestly I don't even care if they make the playoffs and get swept, just get in so we don't hand columbus a pick that could potentially be very high

This is the least comfortable I have been with the Rangers in recent memory.

The Knights of HFNYR do not get off their horses. We're fans of a major New York team. We ride dragons. Screw humility. We're better than everyone. A city so great, it's named after itself twice.
