Around the NHL: Part **** 3-point games

Same **** as last year for Boston. They go on a roll and everyone talks about them being dominant and they come back to earth.

My favorite part was when people on the main boards (and even here) discredited our series win against a "subpar" Washington team- even though that team had taken out what was annointed the most physically intimidating defensive juggernaut dynasty just a few months before by the geniuses on HF.

Did Marchand leave the game? I don't like to see that stuff happen to anyone. However, in saying that, I literally hate Marchand. He is an extremely dirty and disrespectful player in his own right so I will just say one word.

Marchand was indeed taken out of the game. No word on the extent of his injuries.

He had it coming, I feel very little (but still have) some remorse for him. His constant clippings and low-bridge hits are as dirty as the elbows. I thought he would change after that hit on Salo, but he was doing the same **** earlier this year on McDonagh I believe.

Yep. He constantly slashes, cross-checks and hits people late as well. He is an antagonizer who picks and chooses his fights. I literally hate him. At least Lucic can back it up.

Well, even though I hate him, I hope it is nothing serious.

My stance for guys like Marchand is, while I hope they're never injured enough that it has a detrimental effect to their life outside of hockey, I personally have no remorse if they're out for an extended period of time.

If Matt Cooke was annihilated tomorrow and he was able to live normally, sans PCS or anything serious, I would not care one bit if he never suited up to play in the NHL again.

Where are all those Cam Fowler people at?

Horrid season pretty much got worse with an injury last night. Head injury and now an upper body.

Wow. Tickets for the Isles-NYR game on Saturday are EXPENSIVE. Like, MSG prices. Anyone know where I can get normal seats for cheap?

As MDZ's biggest advocate when he had his awful sophomore season I can't really jump on this...

...but i'm glad we didn't draft Fowler. MDZ is better, and if we didn't pick McIlrath there I would've much rather grabbed Tarasenko over Fowler. All the arguments of how Fowler is in the NHL NOW versus Mac who's probably "3-4 years away" when Fowler came in two years ago...i'm sure McIlrath could play just as bad in the bigs as Fowler has done this year.

He wasn't anything special last year, either.

Just checked myself and they're insane. Doesn't look like there's many tickets out there either so I doubt they'll drop. Your best bet is probably to keep checking Ticketmaster to see if the Isles release some in the next couple of days. I imagine they will since they're holding back tickets for whatever plans they're offering.

Luckily I bought mine back when there were some on Ticketmaster. I knew they'd be expensive on the secondary market but I didn't think they'd be this expensive.

@ carolina and @florida the cheapest tickets are less than 10 dollars and the isles rangers game at the coliseum is 150 lol

So Hagelin got 3, and Volchenkov got 4? Does that make sense to anyone?

The hagelin suspension, in relation to the carkner suspension, was the most blatant form of bias I have ever seen from the league. That series was not just the Rangers vs. Ottawa quite frankly.

Can they raise/change the ticket prices from game to game ?

Not sure what you mean but on stub hub pricing is relative to the demand. When Tampa plays you can get in for under 20 and rangers play you pay over 100.

Knowing the market I got a pair when seats went on sale off ticket master for Saturdays game few rows off glass and paid a out 250 for the pair. Now today I'm looking at similar seats going for 500-600 bucks on stub hub. Needless to say I rather go then profit, there are a lot of people inclined to resell for profit.

Still cant believe Carkner only got 1 game. Makes my blood boil to this day.

Yup, it was ridiculously unfair and clearly a loaded decision.

Hagelins hit was unintentional and hit alfredsson in an awkward way. It was hardly worthy of a game, let alone ****ing 3 during the playoffs.
