Mike Babcock is the best coach in the league. Hands down!!!

Red Wings are not as good as Chicago, talent wise. But Babcock brings his guys to play...

It obvious by now, the Red Wings are the model franchise, NOT the Pens or any teams that tank to get the high draft picks.

Yup. Babcock showing his worth in these playoffs.

Zetterberg really stepping it up, too. He has completely and utterly embarrassed Toews thus far.

I think, overall, most people who love hockey realize that the Red Wings are special, and have been for a long time.

he should win coach of the year.. losing Lidstrom and Holmstrom isn't easy to deal with... he has always been a great coach

Being completely honest, what has he been waiting for? I will believe this Sharks team when they show they have the balls to win. Jumboe Joe has been Jumboe letdown so far in his career.
Thornton's been boss in the playoffs for a couple years running now.

I wish TSN would get some new blood on their panel.

They don't do that good of a job at all. I think they are lazy. The guest analysts are the most fun. McKenzie might as well just live for the trade deadline and draft day, as he does not really seem to get genuinely excited and into a nice hockey play. These guys are getting boring.

Pang is pretty good.

I remember some 20-odd games in to the season people were ready to hand the Cup over to Hawks. LOL

He's got something like a 60 assist per 82 game pace in the playoffs since he joined the Sharks. Since his primary job is to set other people up, I'd say he's done fine.

Just saying that I don't think he ever hoists the silver.
Same as Marleau. Nice guys, though.

Well, I do kinda feel like this is the last year of whatever window was open for them.

They remind me a lot of the Canucks. Both are teams I never ever thought would win it all in this era. I never thought either team had what it takes to win.
Sure, this Kings-Sharks series is not over yet, I do realize that.

I believe that if Kings make it past San Jose, they have a VERY high chance of repeating this year. They are the only team in the playoffs that has the combination of physicality, skill, depth, goaltending, and defense.

I think the Kings would be too physical for Detroit and are too well rounded for the Pens. They are also too skilled for the Bruins.

Out of first 5 top scorers there are 4 Penguins. For as much hate as they receive as a team from anyone not from Pittsburgh (and almost rightfully so), this is some acomplishment. 1991-1992 anyone ?
