It may have had something to do with the fact the Sedins were soft as hell, and Luongo had nerves of pudding. There's no way you can blame the coach for that.

As a Rangers fan who lives in Vancouver and also enjoys the Canucks(not as much as NYR though) I absolutely do not want AV as the next coach of the New York Rangers.

For starters, we think Torts doesn't know how to adjust in game. Well neither does AV, unless by adjusting you mean juggling lines (a Tortorella hallmark). Second, the Canucks you saw this year is the style of hockey AV likes to coach(very similar to his first few years here before the offense exploded). The reason they led the NHL in offensive categories the past few years was because the Canucks had a ridiculous amount of offensive potential, so AV sat back and let them do their thing. But as soon as that strategy wasn't working, AV reverted to what he does best:trying to coach grinding, boring hockey (sound familiar?). Personally, I don't think we have the talent for AV to sit back and let the offense do its thing. I think he would try and impose his system on the Rangers.

How is it that a team that finished 1st in offense and 1st in PP 2 years ago drops to 19th and 22nd? Because as soon as the Canucks weren't getting the results they used to, AV brought his 'strategy' back in. We actually scored more goals than the Canucks this year, and our terrible pp which came in at 15.7% was only 0.1% worse than Vancouver's.

Obviously not all the blame can fall on the coach, just like not all the blame for the Rangers can fall on Tortorella. But while AV may be a much more player friendly, calm and collected individual, his actual style and approach to hockey isn't that different than the one we currently have...

There is hope... Providence Bruins of the AHL had a 3-0 series lead to WBS Penguins and the Penguins won 4 straight....

Looks like it'll probably be Boston vs. Pittsburgh. Hopefully Jagr scores the series OT winner in game 7 and does some insane celebration to troll the crowd.

So Pittsburgh's best opponent just scored 2 goals in 2 games and Pittsburgh meanwhile puts up 6 against one of the best defensive teams in the league. Please someone talk me off the ledge. I don't see how the Penguins don't win the cup. This is the best offensive team in a while.

Man, what I would give to have the Pens offense to go along with our defense and goalie.

Our goalie yes but our defense is so overrated it isn't even funny. They are softer than a pillow factory and haven't taken one Bruin off the puck the entire series.

Statistically, Ottawa actually had a worse offense than we did this season. I think LA and Chicago heavily outclass Pittsburgh.

Not much leadership from Toews. His frustration is huge.
I would love for Detroit to win the series, really like their team concept.
Not that I don't like the Blackhawks's players.

The best team is the one that wins, as I always say.
