I think if we remain discipline (like we have been all season) and not give the Pens penalties, then we could have a chance to beat them.
They're so lucky they got Vokoun, otherwise there's a good chance they'd have lost to the Isles with Fluery probably still in net.

I think winner of Rangers-Bruins series is going to finals, unless Ottawa wins.

Ottawa simply not physical enough against the Pens in the opening game. This game feels like a regular season game.
Ottawa simply doesn't have offense to play a skill game against Pitt. They need to turn up the physical level by 10.
Maybe Mclean was using this game a "feeler." for the rest of the series.

eh, the D is not the real problem. Lack of physcial play is. Mclean was playing similar to a Torts defense shell.
Too conservative. You can't play on your heels against the pens. You got to take it to them.
Its why I am worried about playing Pitt. I think Torts gets spooked against them.
This is why I was so glad we avoided the Pens last year, even though we ended up losing to the Devils cause their 4th line was superior to ours and we lacked a capable #6 d-man.
But I don't think anybody was beating the Kings last season with the way they were playing.

Torts basically said the exact same thing the last time we played them. Maybe he's finally figured that out as well. One step at a time though.
PLaying 5 D, one of them being Karlsson wont help. Not enough energy to keep it high pace
