Gaborik is out indefinitely with an broken collarbone, as much as that trade was controversial, at least we got a ok return before he became an complete injury risk

Oh boy... wasn't this his first game back from another injury?

Maybe he'll just hang them up after his current contract is up.

Gaborik has scored 8 goals in 29 games as a Blue Jacket. Zero power play goals. I don't think Columbus re-signs him.

I wonder if they are out of it if they move him at the deadline, if he is out two months he would come back about two weeks before the deadline of March 5th.

Of course in the Metro every team will be in it for that 3rd spot if the teams keep up their awful play.

Sabres down 3-1 in Boston. On a 5 on 3. Chara chops down on Ott's stick and breaks his own stick (Chara's stick broke). Ott given a two minute minor for slashing.

That was garbage.

Leafs blow it. Came back from 3-1 down to take a 1 goal lead, then gave up the tying goal late and lost it in the shootout.

Great game, though.

I like how the Devils do what the Rangers are lauded for doing in signing a bunch of ****** free agents, and it works for them. It's just ****ing unbelievable.

And Tampa-Carolina was a great game tonight. Justin Peters is out of nowhere a great goalie, absolutely robbed Val Filppula in the second period. Spectacular.

Radko Gudas had about as great end-of-the-game shift as one can. Destroys a Hurricane player along the board to get the puck off him, Thompson springs him for a 2 on 1, where he just wires it over Peters' glove hand with a great shot.

Some solid hockey being played tonight.

I care, I'll admit it. For petty fan reasons and also because I have a bet with a Devils's fan that I am probably going to lose.

Ah, that makes sense. Obviously, I root for them to lose every game, but as long as they miss the playoffs, I'll be happy. Dat loss of 1st round pick.
