It boggles my mind that people on this board didn't want to sign Ryan Suter. Best dman to hit UFA in a very long time. I don't care that he is signed until he is 40. Perfect defenseman.

People DIDN'T want him?

What the hell was the rationale behind that?

The Blackhawks are absolutely stacked. The picks they recouped by trading Brouwer, Buff, Versteeg, Bolland were good ones and are all coming up and making a difference. The Rangers should take notes.

Just read Hedman left the game tonight.

Edler is also out for a while. Team Sweden may have lost 2 of their top 4.

Depending on how long Hedman is out, Del Zotto destination?

Robidas is another one who is out.

The Islanders losing 4-1. Rough times for them.

That Blues team is stacked.

Steen, Backes, Oshie, Roy, Schwartz, Tarasenko, Berglund, Stewart, Morrow in top-9.
Pietrangelo, Bouw, Shattenkirk on D.

What's happening in STL?

I see some ridiculous penalties on the penalty summary on NHL.com

Offsetting headbutts, boarding majors, off setting double minor high sticking, double minor head butt and offsetting double minor high sticking, kicking match major.

WTF I thought you were being goofy. That's some serious penalties.

Also lol 4 PPG for STL. :amazed:

Love me some St. Louis. Backes is awesome, still boggles the mind how Sather screwed up that draft with so much talent littered throughout.

I watch the NHL Network and some teams have interviews on the ice with players. Why don't we do this at the Garden? I would love to hear an interview with a player when I'm at the garden.

St.Louis cleaned up in that 1st round. Not really gonna get into it but we passed on a few forwards that could be helping right now. Coyle, Etem, Tarasenko, Schwartz. Even Beau Bennett would be a nice addition to this team. But that doesnt matter, i just hope McIlrath comes here and plays well.

St. Louis is a really good team, but I'm expecting them to choke in round one/two like they've been doing for about 25 years.

I think they're the real deal this time around. Solidified their forward depth with Roy and added JBo. Halak and Steen have been stellar this year as well. The only team I think that gives them trouble in the playoffs is ANA. I would add Chicago and SJ as well to that but they can't keep the puck out of their own net

So Oilers scores 8 goals, yak gets 0 points and ends up with -1..

I saw the game, he looked soo outta place out there..

LA is their boogeyman. ANA will be out in the first round like last year.

Anyone know where I can find stats showing individual penalty killing numbers? Curious to see a minutes per goal against while PK'ing for a few players, and havent been able to dig up that stat.
