His MO has been to put up those kinds of numbers early in the year, with sinking productivity as the year rolls on. It's really been that way since his second season in NY.
He completely disappeared with Flyers in 11-12. The Devils' D system will keep them in games but they're going to be the 5th best team in the division at best. How about that 15-10 shot total in this game. At least back in the day when they killed hockey they had talent.

You like to make these flashy statements that aren't justified. Sure, he's not having an impact but it's hockey and star players aren't always going to play to their potential. It's a fact in this sport and a reality that's known to most. You're just making these statements to be opinionated. It's not good form.

The statement on its own is fine. Yes, it is personal because the reason why the statement wasn't fine is because it came from you and consistent with your denouncing of your flavor of the day, it's unappealing. If only I woke up a better man this morning than I was yesterday, I would have thought to myself, "ehhhh", and went about my business watching hockey. I did not do that.
Sometimes, your screaming at things isn't about the things and what's being said. It feels like you're screaming at a bald man and criticizing him for being bald.
