So as things stand right now....are we all pulling for a Florida vs Colorado finals so that at least one of two well-liked players gets a Cup?

The West is easy for me - not Vegas (so it'll be Vegas). I wouldn't mind the Jets getting to the Finals or even Vancouver since this time they aren't a bunch of guys it is hard to root for like their last trip to the Cup. It would be a riot if the Jets were to end the Canadian Cup streak (and I mean that in the amused sense, not the Vancouver or Montreal sense).

Florida seem like the cream of the East but who knows, wild things can happen.

That would be fun, but I can't help my decades old soft spot for Winnipeg. That town deserves something to cheer about...the Canadian Buffalo.

If we saw that, imagine the horror from the two anglo hockey media hubs (Toronto and Vancouver) and the francophone one (Montreal)? It would be worth it just to watch that meltdown.

Preds should lose the loser point in OT if they lose to a team with no goalie too yea? Be a good reason to score more and help a playoff push against similarly ranked teams.

So the Wild pulled their goalie in a 3-3 Overtime game - and WON.

NHL rules state if a team pulls their goalie in OT and loses, they lose the "loser point".

Doesn't something similar happen in the first Mighty Ducks movie so that the team can make the playoffs?

It's nonsense. Torts had a reason to be pissed.

This guy does a great breakdown of the game with expert lip reading.

I don’t want Torts for the Sabres, but man it must be nice having a coach stand up for the bullshit. Can we get someone like that.

Brings back “don’t you f***ing touch my captain” vibes. We miss that as a team right now.
