My first impression of Bedard. Guys always seems to be in the right spot on the ice. Soon all those chances are going to go his way and he's going to be a 100 point player.

His speed is pretty bad tho and he does get knocked off the puck easy but the Pens are giving him a lot of time and space.

If the Hawks continue to play Bedard 20+ minutes a night he's going to be so burnt out by the All Star break.
 
Well 1 out of 2 isn’t bad. Tampa loses to any team who bothers to show up for the first half of the game. Oh well. That’s it for opening night. Weird there‘s no late game. I guess it makes sense though since no Stanley Cup was awarded last year so there is no banner raising ceremony to cover. We never talk about how weird it is that there was no Stanley Cup Finals last season.

But hockey is back tomorrow…even as they make us wait until day 3 because theyre afraid of Benson outshining their new toy in Chicago night one and two.

I read the bold and was already composing my response in my head and kinda stopped reading.

I went back and re-read it thinking “surely he knows Vegas and Seattle is still to come” and then realised how important reading all of the words is.

Colorado’s cup counted for 2 years because the season wasn’t effected by COVID if I remember correctly.
