I'd imagine if players feel like they have a good chance to win a cup no one leaves. If they are like Calgary or Montreal I'd imagine they might just be more inclined to bolt, however seeing how much shit is rask getting sure will make them think hard and long before making a decision.
Rask didn’t think his team had a good chance to win the Cup?

I’m surprised more guys haven’t opted out. I wouldn’t blame anyone for not wanting to play what amounts to exhibition games while being forced to live in a bubble away from your family during a pandemic. I don’t know if it’s the rust from four months off or the lack of emotion caused by having to play with no fans but these conditions have to suck for the players. The games feel more like scrimmages than what could/should be the pinnacles of guys careers.

I wouldn’t equate playing for the Cup as amounting to an exhibition game.

Hoping the Coyotes can tie up their series today... if we can continue turning our series around and the Coyotes can win theirs it bodes well for future rounds if Colorado is out.

Colorado isn't getting bounced by Arizona. Blues will be ready for them (or Vegas) if they can get past Vancouver though; no need to fear the Avs if the Blues can get their ship righted this evening.

Oh yeah, I definitely have Colorado winning this series. But I'm still pulling for a Coyotes upset

So everything is reseeded again after this round right?

Highest seed vs lowest seed and 2nd highest vs 2nd lowest.

That's my understanding
Ok. Now that our series is tied up I'm starting to pay attention to potential possibilities for the next round. So the Stars taking a 3-2 lead in their series bodes well for us, assuming Vegas eliminates Chicago tonight and the Avs do the same to the Coyotes tomorrow.

Are you assuming we are better off facing Vegas than Colorado? I'm not convinced that is best path for us.

Both are up 3-1 in their series so I'm just assuming they'll be the likely two options depending on the outcome of Flames vs. Stars. Of Vegas and the Avs, I'd personally rather play Vegas.

I guess we have to go through both anyway, so probably doesn't make huge difference. But Vegas seems to play us super tough.
