I wasn't that shocked that Chicago struggled so mightily against Detroit. Chicago is not that physical, and that allowed the Babcock wings to try to match skill for skill.

But the much more physical, grittier Kings team has looked completely impotent against Chicago. I thought for sure, that Chicago would have struggled quite a bit. But Chicago's lack of size and physicality hasn't factored much at all this series.

It makes me question how Boston is going to matchup against them. Its really hard to call, considering that LA plays extremely similar to Boston.

Likewise, Boston just routed a very skilled puck possession team with Pitt.

Gonna have to toss my hands up on predicting that series.

I am still hoping for the Hawks to win, will be a good series. They have some big bodies and aren't easily pushed around. Not to the same degree as LA or BOS but not far behind, and they have a boat load of talent and competent D and goaltending.

I still don't know how Corey Crawford is going to the finals. Every save he makes bounces off of him and there's always a scramble in front. I guess Chicago is just that good in front of their net.

I certainly think Boston has the upper hand in goaltending department. Rask, although certainly not superhuman, is very workman like. Doesn't get too flustered or panicky.

Crawford, on the other hand, is a bit more jittery and less controlled.

Course, the Kings had the goaltending advantage this series. It doesn't seem to be making a whole lot of difference.

One thing I will say that Chicago is VERY good at defending the counter attack/Rush.

Considering that most of Boston's offense comes from those types of plays, the Bruins may have a heck of a time scoring on Chicago.

I like the players on the Blackhawks. I'm completely bonkers crazy about Hossa and Patrick Sharp. To me, those two are like a template for a hockey player. Not a huge star that you read about all the time, just great at hockey.

If you aren't weighed down by a huge superstar and have good deep, strong, scoring players on your roster throughout, equipped with some good D too, you're good to go. Boston and Chicago are pretty good models to follow.

Andrew Shaw with a big hit... only 21 years old. their 5th round pick from 2011 was an overage draft pick.. not a bad steal...

Lombardi has done a good job in Los Angeles. I'm sure that the Kings are going to be a contender for a time yet, though I am not well versed on what their Cap concerns are over the next season or two.

Dwight King is a solid player... good find by the Kings in the draft of 2007.. talk about patience with a player..

Short handed. Not too many of those in the playoffs.

I was just talking about how much I love Sharp, but he kind of screwed up on the backcheck on that goal.
