It's ironic that if it all ended today - two of the big "winners" on all of the analysts deadline cards would be guaranteed to be eliminated after the first round.

COL/DAL and TOR/TB.

Two of those teams would be going home and the subsequent narrative shift, especially in Toronto, would be something to see.

NHL May Take Strong Disciplinary Action Against J.T. Miller Over Alleged Tampering in Trade with Canucks

The Rangers newly acquired superstar, J.T. Miller reportedly reached out to Soucy before the trade to give him a "pitch" in order to entice him over to the Rangers, which technically is not allowed.

Didn't Wheeler pitch the Jets to Stastny in 2018? I seem to recall hearing something about that.

And was Vancouver not trying to trade Soucy but then Miller called him up and he demanded out? If they were trying to trade him anyway then I don't see the issue.

I was squawking that I wanted the Jets to pick up Greenway at the trade deadline without noticing that he re-signed with the Sabers for 4 million per year for 2 years. Too much if you ask me.

If really all the heavy weights matches up. And best on best.

Suppose to be, Jets have the upper hand. As we have Helly.
If Helly keeps the other team at bay, Jets offense and power play can come through...
Nic Ehlers and Kyle Connor also need to come in the playoff and think. This is the only change they have to win it!!!

I know Scheifele will be there, just he will be the focus of the best checking line of the other team again.
And Jmo will be there also..

I know those two will bring it.

The other 3 - - - looking at you 37, 27 and 81

Hopefully this is the year!!!!!!

GO JETS GO..

HELLY remember the USA lost to Canada at 4-Nations. That hurts! channel it :) to help the Jets win one.

If we're a true championship team, we shouldn't be talking about ducking teams in the first round

I'd love to get revenge on the Avs and knock them out if we happen to fall to 2nd in the central

If we can't beat them, we ARE frauds

Speaking of bumps.... I know for a fact if one of our Jets got hit like that even though it was clean, they would have been answering to Lowry .

I do worry that if our players like Connor, Ehlers or Perfetti get run like Rantanen was all game that they will be down and out or just completely shy away from the hard areas of the ice they need to go for the Jets to be successful.

I'd absolutely love to get revenge on them or take out the Stars. But I would also love to do it in the 2nd round. We can get the proverbial monkey off our back taking out Calgary or Vancouver and then get them in the 2nd round when they've been through a 7 game battle of attrition. All that matters is hoisting the Cup, I don't care who we go through to get there.
