It's ironic that if it all ended today - two of the big "winners" on all of the analysts deadline cards would be guaranteed to be eliminated after the first round.

COL/DAL and TOR/TB.

Two of those teams would be going home and the subsequent narrative shift, especially in Toronto, would be something to see.

Didn't Wheeler pitch the Jets to Stastny in 2018? I seem to recall hearing something about that.

And was Vancouver not trying to trade Soucy but then Miller called him up and he demanded out? If they were trying to trade him anyway then I don't see the issue.

Odd deadline — always surprised how a team like Dallas can seemingly load up year after year after year. They’ve got to be at the top of the SC odds board.

But then they’ve been there for years.
 
I was squawking that I wanted the Jets to pick up Greenway at the trade deadline without noticing that he re-signed with the Sabers for 4 million per year for 2 years. Too much if you ask me.
