Was going to post that I knew where Utah could score their mascot. And, oops, Wooly already seems to have an allegiance.
If Raiders of the Lost Ark was released now, it'd be set in 1980.You're not old. You wanna know what old is?
The beginning of the Ducks franchise is now more than halfway back to the Beatles.
The Samuelis have had the Ducks for longer than Disney did.
I used to go on IRC to chat with Ducks fans during games.
A bunch of people here are now thinking WTF is IRC.
If the Smashing Pumpkins released Mellon Collie now, there'd be a song on it called 2009.
I once hired a sitter for the kids who said WTF are the Smashing Pumpkins.
The Utah Mammoth visuals are kind of bland. Feels like something you get for $35 on Fiverr. Nice idea but just meh
Eating crow on calling Rantanen a complementary superstar. Wow.
Woof that 2009 comment brings me infinite sadness. You're not old. You wanna know what old is?

My favorite band of all time. I remember when they released an album for free on the internet in 2000 and I was downloading it on Napster, then later that year I switch to Morpheus/Kazaa or something. You're not old. You wanna know what old is?

I've been to Salt Lake City 2x some years ago and liked it. From conversations about it I've understoot I'm likely a weirdoNice Idea But Just Meh is the Utah state motto.
Krakens sound too much like crakheadsI like the name. Would prefer "Mammoths" though just like I would prefer "Krakens".

What did you like about it? To me SLC always seems like a movie set before the crew arrives.I've been to Salt Lake City 2x some years ago and liked it. From conversations about it I've understoot I'm likely a weirdo
Middle of nowhere and mountain-ey view felt pretty nice.
I really liked that there are mountains around. Perhaps because I've lived in a flat land pretty much ny whole life. What did you like about it? To me SLC always seems like a movie set before the crew arrives.
All i know is they should have gone with this color scheme, sub the black for that purple.... i like teams that go with unique color schemes.I like the logo’s visual style and the color scheme, but it’s way off balance.
I think the 3 colors are not enough, looks just bland. And the colors in place are a bit meh together, just black, white, and a "barely blue". I'm not a designer but it looks a bit boring to me. It screams for some accent color that would stand out. A red eye or smth (altho no, we already have thatI like the logo’s visual style and the color scheme, but it’s way off balance.
Is Latvia very flat?I really liked that there are mountains around. Perhaps because I've lived in a flat land pretty much ny whole life.
City not being so crowded is not necesarilly a bad thing for me. I like people but also enjoy self time
In the evening some streets were pretty full though, was a nice time.
I've driven through it the last few years on my way to Wyoming. Does that count for anything?I've been to Salt Lake City 2x some years ago and liked it. From conversations about it I've understoot I'm likely a weirdo

Yes, it's a flat land here.Is Latvia very flat?
edit - now that I look, Riga's a pretty small city. Omaha's bigger.
That was kind of a non sequitur by me. I'm not really sure what I meant.Yes, it's a flat land here.
No idea about Omaha tho![]()
Latvia's highest point is at about 1000 feet. Make of that what you will.Is Latvia very flat?

Well I wouldn't want to make a mountain out of a molehill.Latvia's highest point is at about 1000 feet. Make of that what you will.
I had to look just to believe it, that’s worse than Coyotes numbers. What the hell happened? Not to bag on another team's fanbase (although I guess I am) but on the vegas board there are exactly 11 posts so far for the Oilers series talk (thread was started on May 1st) and 15 posts for their game 2 GDT. That's shocking. The team may never survive a rebuild...the fan support seems an inch thick and a mile wide.
