The Samuelis have had the Ducks for longer than Disney did.

I used to go on IRC to chat with Ducks fans during games.

A bunch of people here are now thinking WTF is IRC.

If the Smashing Pumpkins released Mellon Collie now, there'd be a song on it called 2009.

I once hired a sitter for the kids who said WTF are the Smashing Pumpkins.

If Raiders of the Lost Ark was released now, it'd be set in 1980.

My favorite band of all time. I remember when they released an album for free on the internet in 2000 and I was downloading it on Napster, then later that year I switch to Morpheus/Kazaa or something.

Middle of nowhere and mountain-ey view felt pretty nice.

What did you like about it? To me SLC always seems like a movie set before the crew arrives.

I really liked that there are mountains around. Perhaps because I've lived in a flat land pretty much ny whole life.
City not being so crowded is not necesarilly a bad thing for me. I like people but also enjoy self time
In the evening some streets were pretty full though, was a nice time.

All i know is they should have gone with this color scheme, sub the black for that purple.... i like teams that go with unique color schemes.

I think the 3 colors are not enough, looks just bland. And the colors in place are a bit meh together, just black, white, and a "barely blue". I'm not a designer but it looks a bit boring to me. It screams for some accent color that would stand out. A red eye or smth (altho no, we already have that )

Not to bag on another team's fanbase (although I guess I am) but on the vegas board there are exactly 11 posts so far for the Oilers series talk (thread was started on May 1st) and 15 posts for their game 2 GDT. That's shocking. The team may never survive a rebuild...the fan support seems an inch thick and a mile wide.
