It's very cathartic watching the Rangers get handed top draft picks and top free agents most years, and still absolutely sucking.

Good to know there is still a little bit of justice in the world.

@WhatTheDuck Told ya that offer was too much. ;)

Meh not a big difference depending on how much value Borgen has (seems like the type of Dman who goes for a 2nd or 3rd at the deadline). I don't think Dionicio(I originally had Pastujov instead) or Lundy have much value really.

My suggestion was roughly worth 2nd + throw ins of mid to late round value. He went for Borgen + throw ins. I don't see a big gap there myself. If we were interested, easily had the picks and prospects to top that, or it would have been something like Dumoulin + add ons.

Disagree. The value would've been the early 2nd. Borgen is... not good.

Borgen is along the same lines as Boosh (who netted us a third) but IMO better.

Even if I put his value at a 3rd I don't think I was far off.

Borgen (3rd) + 3rd + 6th vs 2nd + Lundy + Dionicio

I really don't think Lundy + Dionicio would fetch more than a 3rd + 6th. The difference there roughly amounts to the difference between a future 2nd and 3rd this year.

In the end, I was only suggesting what amounts to spare parts, and he went for spare parts.

Barkov playing like a stud in the Panthers Blues game. What an effort just now in ot which drew a penalty.

Just scored on the ot pp to win it. Reminds me of when Getzlaf would just take over a game.

Drysdale looking rough for the Flyers. That trade is looking more lopsided every game.

He's had very good games and some very bad games. His last two games haven't been great. I think two games ago, he got a new partner. In his last game, he got switched right back to his original partner.

It's not any different from any of our youth d-men, who's had good games and bad games. LaCombe's last game he was a -2 rating and his Stat card was terrible, but I think it was more bad team defense than LaCombe's individual bad defense. Zell hasn't scored in the past 10 games, but none of us are losing doubt in Zell. Minty got benched because he was struggling on the ice as he had the worst CF%, a -19 turnover production, third worst expected +/- values. Yet, none of us are losing faith in Minty.

Drysdale is a year older than Zell and a year younger than LaCombe, but Drysdale also lost two seasons of development. We're fortunate to have had LaCombe, Minty, Zell, and Luneau to be able to make Drysdale available for trade. Although, Drysdale is part of the trade. We have no idea how that 2025 second round pick will pan out for the Flyers. I actually don't care about that b/c Cutter is trending the right way in play. I hope we can get an offensive-minded head coach to better utilize our youth forwards, otherwise it's gonna suck under year three of Cronin offensively.

Yeah, he looked really good in the game against Det that was on national tv.
He's going to do well against soft teams that don't forecheck well.
