The Blues continue their winning streak up 2-0 late second vs Chicago. They can make it 6 straight wins tomorrow vs Nashville.

So in the GDT thread @Bounces R Way asked how long the Ducks have been drafting in teh top 10... so it gave me the idea to look up top 10 picks and how long different teams have been selecting near the top.

Was amazing. Glad when I woke up early and couldn't fall asleep after a 3.5 hr sleep I decided to stay up to watch. Cool to watch history like that.

In saying that he's still 49 goals behind in my books (inc. the 122 to 72 playoff goal diff).

Why do playoff goals count for nothing? It's not created equal as far as games available. But for most goals ever? I count them.

Well he should bridge that gap at least little if the Caps are indeed poised to make a deep run here

Don't think we would have/will get past the 1st round in the West but we would have a good shot at it against Montreal or Ottawa. Habs 87pts ahead of the next contender for WC2 by 6pts is semi disgusting.

If Ekholm is really out for the year I doubt the Oilers get much going in the playoffs. Might not even get past LA, Kuzmenko has been excellent for them.

If the Flames end up being the second team in NHL history or whatever it is to be five points out with four games left in the season and still make the playoffs, I honestly don’t really even care how well they do. Obviously it would be awesome to see them go on a Cinderella run, but just for them to make it when everybody and their dog counted them out would be a victory in itself for this group. No shortage of heart in that locker room, it’s been a fun season to watch regardless

The chasing team here had one or two games in hand on the teams they're chasing at that point, which alone is rare, but then also got to play the team they only had one game on. And there is no other competition and two teams equally close to try and catch.

How many times would this be the situation? Probably extremely rare. So one success likely isn't that small a percentage.
