The National Hockey League and NHL Players' Association have officially begun talks on a new collective bargaining agreement extension, reports TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun.

Interesting to watch the UDFA season around the league and seeing players with size begin snapped up. This seems like a far busier period of signings than in recent years too - for the punditry to have missed out on the volume of signings is interesting too. Teams want beef on their farm squads if nothing else.
Still thinking he's going to wind up with the Mike Sillinger record in his grasp before it's all over.

There's a late fifties Bruins/Djurgardens/Joker being Finn riff in there but that's too long a ways for me to travel for a dad joke. Agreed on the B's bottoming out. You love to see it, but know that some sort of phoenix/bear amalgamation will be rising from the ashes soon.
