Hughes is very good, but so is Dahlin, different situations, different teams. Dahlin was the consensus number one, and even if we had chosen Hughes, nothing would have changed with this team, all the same problems would still be there. Hughes has his slick skating and speed, but Dahlin is a physical monster (when healthy). Just a year ago, Dahlin had a better season than Hughes.

Why not, we just paid a second for a fourth liner, Parssinen seems to have that top 9 potential, plus he's a center, we'll have to see how he does in AVS.

you have to overpay to get players to come here, outbid other teams, not be scared of your shadow, and to "finish" the deal. Or you miss the playoffs for 14 years!
