That's sad. Both that they never sought out how to do some basics to take care of themselves and that no one has knocked it into their heads at an earlier age. Makes them come off as even more entitled and unlikeable than before reading that.

Knowing what some of Nate's college classmates are like, it is not shocking to me at all.

At least Nate went to college knowing how to make Mac & Cheese and Ramen Noodles.

That makes me a little covetous of how others grew up. Ngl.
Not me. Being coddled to the point that you struggle to be self sufficient is no way to grow up, IMO.

More the idea of never knowing a day of lack. I'd try it out and see what it is all about for a day or two.

Even a sheltered or low IQ dufus, in this day and age, should know that anything they don't know how to do is explained in a YT video.
A lot of young people are inept when it comes to looking things up. They are used to being fed content by scrolling or tapping, not searching for information. My 94 year old grandmother does a better job than a lot of people in their teens or twenties.

I wonder if it will be available if this continues.
I just can't imagine he'll play at this level for long. He's shown he can be a 1C who is great defensively. I'd be tempted to take a flyer on him. I know the cost and contract are spooky, but if he gets back to form- we have a top-10 C to pair with Tage as our other top-6 C option.
