The Wings are dogshit and Timothy Dexter'ing their way to some wins doesn't change anything and they aren't winning shit anytime soon. And we all know Pegula is a clueless bumpkin but if you seriously think he wouldn't have jumped at the chance to sign Kane and fill our half empty arena you couldn't be more wrong. And if you don't think the GM who got his job for his ability to say "Yes Mr Pegula" tried to sign him you couldn't be more wrong.

I will say this: if his decision to not come home was driven by a desire to not be around "family and friends I would not mess with" and the potential complications it might lead to then it's far more understandable and I would strike my prior comments from the record.
Don't back up your "Act" with any facts. Nice! Time to go back to Giraffe's.

Without the trade, Samuelsson would be in our top 4 all year.
Good point ... I think we have a serviceable top 4 with Byram in there. Samuelsson likely would have tanked one of those pairings in both possession and actual goals against.

Basically if this team could start producing on the PP, they're very solid even with a terrible second line. If they can somehow get both the PP and Line 2 going to some capacity, I think we might have a legit shot at playoffs here.

My son’s team got group tickets to the Charlotte Checkers vs the Bridgeport Islanders. I’ll check out some potential future Sabres.

Former Sabre Rasmus Asplund is one the ice tonight for Charlotte.

@sabremike i also can report a mini-giraffe sighting

And of course that fake phony fraud Patty Kane steals it for the Wings. I have a billion times more respect for Jack Eichel than I do that guy and people will cheer him like he's a returning hero on Saturday, makes me sick.
From awhile back but, you'll be happy to know there was no Sabre fans cheering him. Was there live (great seats at redline, thank you son inlaw)

Matthews tied the game late and then gave it away in OT.

I’m just going to say it. Guy is one of the best players in the world…but if I was on the team going through some tough times and the captain is the guy who won’t get his hands dirty and smiles after starting shit while the rest of the team has to jump in for him…I’d think we were not going to be getting out of that trouble any time soon.

That OT giveaway was inexcusable.

I hate the islanders as much as the next person, but the league’s FLA favoritism is insane.

The refs let a goal stand last night in a sequence where, in a span of about 25 seconds, Tkachuk ripped Varlamov’s stick out of his hands, cross checked him, and then shoved him out of the way in the crease to get to a loose puck behind him. Somehow none of that was goalie interference
