Then that would explain it.

The Anaheim home game 2 weeks prior only had 14344, against another Pacific division bottom feeder. I had to look that up.

I think a team like the Sharks or Ducks on a weeknight and with no promotions would probably draw less than a weekend game/promotional game.

I'm thinking more people will come to a weekend game just because a lot of people don't have enough time after work to make it to Newark on time for puck drop on work nights. Although maybe football season also plays into that. I guess if one of the two local teams has a 4:00 PM game on a Sunday that could cost them a few heads on a Sunday night game against a weak opponent from the Western Conference.

Eh I doubt a Camo military bag is really bringing people out. It was just a weekend night home game with no local NFL game conflicting with it. I always look at Sunday night games as glorified weeknight games (though it's obviously more convenient for many others) because you still have to get home and go to work the next day anyway, except you don't have the traffic issues going into Newark then that you do on a normal weeknight game.

Not to mention we were in a road-heavy stretch, not like we had three games in five days at the Rock - only two home games between October 28 and tonight.

I always LOVED a sunday night or early night game. i get with nfl and all that but honestly the local teams suck and have been sucking a long time if im the devils load up on sunday 5pm games. its the best of both worlds late enough start and its a quiet travel day with traffic. as proof fans will show up even against a bottom feeding west coast team
