Peterka would be a good get for them, but that also means they're giving up something good in value too. I assume Miller+ for Peterka, Buffalo's left side looks god awful with a quick search of their lines.

Assuming you mean K’Andre then I doubt it. Power Dahlin and Byram are all LD. Even Samuelsson is left shot

Not really well versed on other teams' prospects but see conflicting posts on the main board but some of them make it seem like Ritchie is close to a blue chip prospect.

Top prospect + 1st alone is a lot for a rental 2C but also with their best player ages and contracts their window will likely be shut after 26-27. That prospect isn't realistically helping until Mack is on the wrong side of 30 and Makar is making close to 15 million

Not only that but no way we can realistically match what Dallas is likely offering. They can easily afford to give a promising young roster player like Stankoven/Borque with how good their top 9 is

I can’t even wrap my brain around how we are still icing a mid ass team (who turns into potential non-playoff one with any injury to the top six) after a decade of sucktitude, drafting two first overalls, drafting high numerous times, making big trades, spending to the the cap, and two years removed from a great season that looked like just the beginning of a cup window.

Well the star player is injury prone. The draft picks have been busts and the franchise players seem to be as mentally tough as toilet paper when shit isn’t going their way which goes back to the first point. Plus the two teams mentioned Dallas and Tampa have home grown elite goaltending we had to trade for ours

Literally taking what the Avs fans are saying on their board verbatim lol. Bunch of their players hit UFA or will be aging well past their prime. I don't disagree that Mack at 32 in 27-28 will be elite and will probably age akin to Crosby, but that doesn't mean they'll be able to constantly keep a great supporting cast around him.

You missed his point completely, they'll be better players coming into the league by then and the Avs will probably be on the downswing with their core, they have to go for it right now when MacK is in peak along with Makar and the rest of the Avs crew.
