Probably. Wasn’t there some talk of them considering trading Pettersson too?
That was an either or situation with Miller. If they were going to trade both then it wouldn't make sense to trade for Marcus Pettersson and Drew O'Connor. A Pettersson trade would mean a complete rebuild because their top center would be Filip Chytil at that point.

“noted locker room cancer” because he had a public feud with one player on the canucks.

the rangers don’t care what they look like in 3 years. they’ll find a loser team to gobble up his contract and give them a mid round pick like they always do.

dramatically changes their math this year and next year. Philip Chytil is a 3rd line center with a bad back. He’s nothing.

I think this move makes sense for the Rangers, they want to win now. When motivated Miller can be a real difference maker.

I didn’t want him NJ because the red flags are to numerous.

It’s not just this feud. He was asshole on other teams.

He also feuded with Horvat and it’s one of the reasons he got traded on Jan 1st 2023.

Also, Miller took that mysterious month leave of absence that might have been suspension over some drama with Tocchet.

Miller tends to play great when things are going well, but and then turn into a huge problem, while playing worse, when his team struggles.

Gotta hope ovie gets this record this year. It’s a real driving force and once he gets it could deflate them at the worst possible time right before the playoffs. Dont think he will get it though

Glad we won it for Rayzor but we really didn't deserve it.

The Mammoth logo is cool, but holy cringe at the last two.

Just name it Mammoth so we don’t have to ever see those other two on a jersey, ever.

The Outlaw looks very little-league-ish type of stuff. That would look cringy as a minor league or even junior league or NCAA logo.

Not to mention that Outlaws is a name more suited for another sport (sounds very lacrosse or arena football to me, probably because there were teams named that in those sports?) or a minor league hockey team.

Was there an Outlaws in the roller hockey league back in the 90s?

I liked hockey club for the name but not the logo. Outlaws is a Stupid name and even more stupid logo. The woolys are good logo but meh on the name.

Also the colors suck they look black? Or will it be the same color scheme they use now?

It’s super obvious they put all their time and effort into yeti but

1 how couldn’t they secure the yeti name or know they couldn’t secure it?
2 how stupid is yeti for not giving permission or coming to an agreement? You have a pro sport team in an outdoorsy area of the country where your product will sell?
3 fail on everyone because the product and team and sport all perfectly fit. Yeti coolers ice and ice hockey.

Shame because they could’ve nicknamed the arena the cooler. Hell give them the naming rights for free if that would’ve closed the deal. Yeti arena easily the best named arena

I don't understand how a trademark for thermal mugs and coolers has anything to do with a hockey team. There are tons of examples of duplicate trade names that don't overlap.
