I really don't want to be a team trading with Colorado these days

I don’t think Parssinen for a 3rd is some rip off. Parssinen’s sucked the last 2 years
Markstrom for just two years is the rare case a first round is perfect. I wouldn’t want him for more than the 2 years. This makes me realize that giving up a first-round pick for Markstrom wasn't an overpay.
I was spending too many seconds trying to figure out how Ondrej Pavelic still had a contract.Ondrej Pavel is quite the double first name
Poor Rango. As has been the case, he just doesn't get enough shots despite his excellent scoring touch. His shot generation is about the same as last year, roughly 2 per game. He's shooting 9.4% this year vs. 17.3% last year.

Fitz did quite well with that trade. Yegor is a fun but limited player.
Will forever be annoyed we couldn’t pawn off Yegor on SJ rather than Zetterlund
No, not really lol.Anyone recall who replaced him in the lineup after game 3 of the Rangers series?
He would have been fine tooWill forever be annoyed we couldn’t pawn off Yegor on SJ rather than Zetterlund
Was it Wood?Yeah, net result of the trade was that Fitz traded Sharangovich + 2023 3rd round pick (80th overall) for 2024 3rd round pick (91st overall - Herman Traff) + Winnipeg's 2025 2nd round pick.
Leaving out the fact that we had several months of Toffoli and the fact that a 2023 3rd rounder is slightly more valuable than a 2024 3rd rounder, essentially netting a 2025 2nd round pick for Sharangovich the summer after he was getting healthy scratched in the playoffs isn't a bad bit of business.

Do you remember? Or are you asking?
At least he got PAID before hitting a wall, though some Calgary posters are suggesting the poor performance might be related to a shoulder injury earlier this season.
Still, it was crazy that Conroy rushed to sign him first chance he could get (July 1st) to that contract (5 x $5.75M) when there was still another year left on his deal and he didn't have much of a track record.
Hopefully he bounces back a bit - don't want to see him just get roasted on a regular basis by Calgary fans.
my guess is that was the devils first offer but seeing how holtz has been in vegas now i'm sure the sharks declined. Will forever be annoyed we couldn’t pawn off Yegor on SJ rather than Zetterlund
