The Devils are playing well. Think they have held most teams in the 8 games to under 20 shots. They held the Rangers to 12 today. The rangers look lost

Penguins looking quite alive.

Bunting is on hattrick watch rn and the team’s pushing above .500. Malkin + bunting is super fun to watch, and it’s kinda hard to deal with when the other option is Crosby + Rust.

Especially with the rangers collapse - Crosby is going to have a path to the wildcard if they keep this up.

At Least we aren't going to be the team who ends the Sabre's Losing streak.

We could still lose, but at least the Islanders are the guys who lost first.

Interesting to see Sam Bennett try to be a tough guy when Tkachuk got knee on knee hit vs TB. That little munchkin is a white knight clown.

Blues better not forget what Mr Bennett has coming to him the next time we play.

Sam Bennett has over 20 NHL fights on his dance card. He's not a pretender and I'm pretty sure he'd wallop any Blues forward that would drop the mitts with him.

20 fights is nothing. Pretty sure I had 20 fights in a league that didn't allow fighting. Schenn would also probably beat him, hell Walker might even be able to.

Bennett would beat the brakes off of both. You've clearly never seen him fight. Apparently you've never seen Schenn fight either.

I am currently watching his fight and I can tell you that he is an absolute bitch. He throws the first punch on players that aren't ready and he punches them in the back of the head when they are down. He's a flat out bitch.

Dvorsky socres!

From The Athletic. "The Sabres have chased the other team’s goaltender due to poor performance on five separate occasions this year. They’ve lost four of those five games."

Buffalo is an odd team. They trade solid players who the media and fans called locker room cancers and then those players go on to win cups and have solid careers. Reinhard, ROR, Eichle. None are considered cancers at their new team.

Buffalo, the team, is the cancer. Who in their right mind wants to play for a perennial loser. That kind of environment is depressing for anyone, even if you are making a ton!

From what I've heard in interviews, it sure seems like their front office was dysfunctional. Say what you want about Lehner but he had pretty strong words about how they treated him and how they wanted to deal with his injuries. Combine that with Eichel and his injury drama with Buffalo and I think it's safe to assume they were not handling players the right way.

Maybe the current regime is better, or at least I hope so, but it just seemed like an unpleasant environment to be in. Maybe ROR's comments about not having fun coming to the rink were about more than simply losing on the ice but also the environment surrounding the team. It could be an especially damaging influence on young developing players, which they have plenty of.

I think the general feeling is that Kevyn Adams is incompetent and the Pegulas are too focused on the Bills' success to care or do anything about it. Organizationally there have to be big issues with player development to have the consistent misses they do beyond the Dahlin and Eichel picks.

Yeah seems like a desperation move. Could work out well for them…hopefully it doesn’t haha
