Looks like the Blackhawks have already moved Bedard to the wing, especially given that his FO percentage is at a whopping 29%. I've said it before, I don't think he sticks at center long-term. He's better suited on the wing and will be better supported once Oliver Moore and Frank Nazar are ready to carry the 1C and 2C roles.

Love those old Kings jerseys. Buffalo old ones which they use are sexy too.
Kings, Sabres, Flames, Oilers and Penguins have all done well to buck the newer trends and go back to designs similar to those they had in the 90s. Wouldn't mind if the Blues did something similar.

You have to wonder if Jim Montgomery and the Bruins are on the road to a mutual separation. He has a lot of heat on him and doesn’t seem to be loving the gig from my outside observation. Still think he’d be a great fit in STL down the road.

The Oilers are playing Kap on Mcdavid's line? They're really determined to make us regret this move huh? I know they've got a couple top six guys injured but maybe our depth isn't as bad as we think. Congrats to KK for hitting the jackpot, in the short term at least.

I remember Ty Rattie spending time in his line once upon a time. It didn’t mean the Blues had misjudged.

Honestly, his speed might actually make him a decent fit next to McDavid. But it would be hilarious if they find short term fools gold only for him to disappear as soon as he gets an extension.

Paul Bissonnette of Spitting Chiclets got assaulted by six guys and put in the hospital. According to the police report, he was trying to defuse an argument between those six and management, and he sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Thankfully, all of those six cowards were booked for aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.

So he got into a bar fight by sticking his nose into someone elses business? Truth doesn't make it sound nearly as cool as "assaulted by 6 guys"

I mean, the story is that those 6 guys were harassing an employee at the restaurant and Biz is the one guy that stepped in to stand up for that person, and he essentially got jumped by the 6 guys.

It’s being reported that those guys got arrested and I don’t think Biz did, so whatever witnesses and evidence the police have so far seems to support that story.

Just an awful take, which is no surprise. According to Bissonnette which seems supported by the arrest of the 6 other guys and news coverage:

1) it was a restaurant with a bar, not a bar. So there was no bouncers. Bissonnette called it a family restaurant.
2) Bissonnette was a regular going there multiple times a week so he knew the staff
3) The guys laid hands on the manager before Bissonnette decided to step up.
4) They threw punches as soon as he stepped up.
5) There were at least 6 of them to 1

If you think someone is wrong to step up and help a restaurant manager defuse volatile customers, you are callous or a coward. Getting in their business is a ridiculous portrayal of helping someone who is getting threatened by 6 drunk guys. But even if someone "sticks their nose in your business, you don't throw hands. And you especially don't attack him 6 on 1.

I respect Bissonnette for stepping up to help. Very few people have the bravery to do so. As the saying goes, "the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing", Bissonnette is a good man for not standing by in my book.

Might want to check your facts. He was sticking up for the manager of a restaurant he goes to 3-4 times a week.
