Poor Tuna didn’t make it to Christmas in his new home.
Good thing there’s a fish market in Seattle. (Has rotten vegetables thrown in my direction)
appreciate that. frankly in the scheme of things and in the context of “how unimaginably difficult your life gets with 2 kids under 2 years old”, that night has just become a blip in the radar. healthy baby and healthy mom are all that matter.I was going to share a horror story from my own family, but this is so brutal I can’t follow it up.
This is a Stephen King story, hell of health system we have. Just enraging and sad, sorry you all went through that.

In hindsight if he stayed Holtz probably wouldn't have gotten the shot he has because I tend to doubt they'd sit anyone else except MAYBE Bastian. What a fumble, we offered him a 1 year deal to come back and play he said no.

When my wife and I had our second kid, we were told to pack up the room because we were being discharged in an hour. So we did, and signed her discharge papers and were told to wait for the babies discharge papers and an escort out.
A few hours (!!!) later, we asked what the hold up was. We were told the baby's bilirubin levels were low, so they wanted to keep her a few more hours. But since my wife was no longer a patient, she wasn't allowed to have the nursing consultant over / get pain treatment for her cesarian scar. Which was annoying, because she only signed the discharge papers because she was told everything was good to go and we were being released. More annoying now that the baby is moved to a baby room, no bed for the recovering mother, just a chair. Uncomfortable and annoyed, but almost out of there.
A few hours (!!!!!!!) later than that, we asked what the hold-up was. My wife was in pain, now that the pain meds had stopped for several hours. I had to leave and buy her tylenol. At this point it's been 7 hours and we were told "baby is good, we'll get you ready to discharge". I was told to bring the car around.
I waited in the car for a full hour when I went back inside to ask what happened. Nurse change, nobody has any idea. They thought we were already discharged. New nurse comes in, "don't worry, I'll take care of it." Another 2 hours pass. Nurse comes back, looks surprised, asks "still here?". Yes...?
I'm told to go down to move the car around front again. Again wait in the car for an hour. Nothing. This time I go inside and I'm furious. My wife is starving and in pain. My family is waiting at my house for us to get home and has been since 10am. It's now 10:45pm at night. Old doctor who gave the okay to discharge went home. New doctor wants to review bilirubin levels himself. Doesn't want to send the baby home yet. We're told to stay overnight.
If you haven't seen a woman who gave a c-section, it's impossible to describe how immobile they are and how much pain they're in when the hospital meds wear off. I send her home, and she spends the 3rd night of our baby's life away from the baby. I demand to be discharged as soon as possible -- the baby is breast fed and needs to eat. They finally discharge me at 2:30am. I leave with the baby but the hospital doors are closed and locked. Walk 1.5 miles -- no exaggeration -- to use the emergency room exit. Then walk 1.5 miles back to my car, in the rain, with a screaming newborn baby, at 3 in the morning.
f*** hospitals. Full stop.
Poor one out for Bleed
Raanta on Waivers
I think we’ll use it as a chance to send Schmid to Utica, but I don’t at all see him an upgrade over Schmid.I feel like at 1.5M and no assets given up, there are probably worse chances to take...but hasn't been good this year at all and I'm pretty sure that's not going to get better on a worse defensive team where he's not decently insulated by the structure.
They did?Maybe the Canes beat us at the Gibson sweepstakes?

Why did the emojis and all that go away? It’s like they’re hidden? Or did I change something on my reply bar maybe when I got my phone wet or something and just didn’t even know about it? I’ve noticed it since yesterday.
He's not good, but he's cheap and half of the league needs goaltending. I think a number of teams will put in a claim, including us. Worst case scenario, Schmid goes to Utica for 2 weeks and then comes back when Raanta immediately implodes.
But the fact that Carolina, a team with bottom-5 goaltending this year, is giving up on him should be the reddest flag imaginable.
I don’t know what’s wrong with mine. Check it out though. They did?
Your phone "got wet"? Ayo?I don’t know what’s wrong with mine. Check it out though.

See how everything isn’t bolded up there for me? Like they probably are for you??
Not sure if I accidentally hit something when my phone got wet or not.
Zetterlund has outproduced Timo this morning and Muk is tearing up the AHL. Did Fitz mess up?
