I would argue pitchers abuse themselves more than hockey players do.Baseball I can see every night action. Their players only scratch themselves and spit every two seconds and not much else.

The NBA doesn't have any games until Sunday with each series' having 3 days off in between games 2 and 3 (2 nights of no games in addition to the current 3 night stetch of games).
There have been 2 games every night going back to 4/28 with minimal 2-day breaks... If all the other series' didn't end in 5 games, there would have been games over the past 2 nights.
Plus, ya know - arena availability (NSH was booked last night).
2 of the breaks will be consecutive, between game 1 and 2.Watch, when we get to the SCF there's gonna be three two-day breaks in the series.
I would argue against this take. A lot.I would argue pitchers abuse themselves more than hockey players do.
Also, yes hockey and football and basketball players are much tougher. But in baseball if an ab injury or shoulder injury impacts your swing or an ankle impacts your stance, you're pretty useless. In hockey guys can contribute in all kind of ways. Just remember Leetch in the 97 ECF, guy couldn't shoot but he still played big minutes.
Always peeves me when hockey culture dismisses baseball player injuries as over the top or over dramatized.
SO MUCH of baseball is centered around mechanics and if you can't do that you're basically worthless.
Pssshhh...
Like you need a rotator cuff to pitch...pls...

"If Jim Abbott can pitch WIT ONE ****IN' HAND THEN WHATS YOUR EXCUSE????"
Being a Major League pitcher pretty much guarantees major surgery these days.I would argue against this take. A lot.
C....t.....e...Being a Major League pitcher pretty much guarantees major surgery these days.
You say that as if every hockey player has had CTEC....t.....e...
If you've ever had someone in your family with it or any kind of dementia you'll know you'd take 50000000 major arm surgeries over cte
Show me 1 pitcher with c.t.e. till then save whatever argument you've got.
