Deserved. That whole thing was just stupid. Hartley started a bunch of plugs, and Torts runs right into it by sending out his own plugs. Send out the Sedins at that point and try to take advantage of the other coach being a damned idiot and putting his worst players on the ice.

I don't get Tortorella's reaction to it, either. I mean, he had last change. Everyone knew what Hartley was doing, Tortorella had to know what was going to happen when he sent his line out...it's just stupid.

I saw Alfredsson was being used at the position too as well as at the point. Exactly where Brunner should've been used. I clearly remember one of his goals where Nyquist set him up right there and he just smashed it in.

Feel bad for Klein he signs that über cheap contract then gets traded to the most expensive market in NHL. I am not saying he won't be fine, but that contract had a lot more legs in Nashville.

I kind knew he was always the odd man out despite what Preds fan thought about carrying those three right handed shots in the top 4. This does very clearly indicate for those wondering however that they are not really ever going to make Weber available at least not in the twenty-teens anyway.

I think New York did well here, they could even flip Girardi for assets though I doubt they do it. If Sather ever does get canned somebody should hire him as trade consultant, but just make him wear a Charlie Brown teacher voice box thing for when free agency starts.
