Last year's Hobey Baker Award winner signed a three-year, entry-level contract ($975,000 a year, plus performance bonuses) with the San Jose Sharks on Saturday, ending his college career at Boston University after one season. He had 64 points in 38 games last season as the youngest player in college hockey.
According to capfriendly...His salary is comprised of $97,500 in signing bonuses and $877,500 in base salary. $3,500,000 performance bonuses each year. AAV is $4,475,000

Yup. I met him a couple of times back in his days with the Jets. There is no way he was taller than 5'10". I could look him eye to eye and I'm about 5'9 1/2".
