Did they pay out his entire salary? I don't know. As for there being more to the story, rumour and innuendo - but given my bias I'm okay liking them even less than I already did.

And yes, McPhee did take advantage of a situation - and for his sake I hope he never needs another job because I'm sure there are some organizations that won't forget it (or maybe they will...some of those same franchises that should be most pissed also voted to award the franchise and knew the expansion rules ahead of that).

Really this is just me not liking Vegas. Nobody has to agree with any of my reasons, or even agree that they are unlikable.

Nice to see Connor Brown rounding back into his old self, last year was rough for a while but to be expected when coming back from a major injury

And seriously, IMO we are one Reinhart away from being a contender (and replace Perron-Amadio-Hamonic-Forsberg by cheaper/more efficient players). I think he'll win his first Selke this season while scoring 50+ goals.

Sabres are a disaster. I hope Ottawa can get Peterka off them, especially if Adams does any panic moves to try and save his job.

I can't even single out what's wrong with Buffalo. Is it the Pegula's? Is it Adams being poor at roster construction? This new batch of young players not good enough?

We don't have anything to get Peterka unless you'd want to sacrifice Yakemchuk?

You are correct, no backstabbing. Bobby f’d himself over with his misogynistic comments on social media. CIH and him mutually parted ways shortly after the incident. Not sure why that constitutes as backstabbing especially since Bobby hasn’t done much of anything else since then

Kleven - JBD

Ideally Hamonic wouldn’t be here and we’d have a Brannstrom type to play with Kleven (taller if you want). But seriously, JBD has been fine. That pairing is not going to produce much offense though

And the thing is we have Yakemchuk coming

Those guys can get it done if everyone is healthy and playing well like you say. But it’s borderline good enough for the playoffs. Ideally you upgrade one of those guys with a big strong mobile stud.
