Meh, he had his moments here. I’m sure he could have done well again.

That said it’s a small price to pay for Ullmark.
He had some great times with the Sens but it was failing to bring a consistent game that ultimately did him in. I remember fights and physicality and I also remember baby soft fly-bys on the forecheck and disappearing for weeks at a time. Hot start with the Bruins but will check back in a couple month from now to see if he's changes his feathers.

The Knights-Kings game starts at 11pm ? Yikes.

What is the NHL trying to test here? I feel like if you're going to do this maybe you should try to set up a red-zone type system like the NFL does but that sounds impossibly hard given the NFL is a stop-go sport with plays and it's much harder to spot a scoring chance in hockey.

Today was some kind of special day. Games started every 15 minutes. Trying to avoid intermissions at the same time I guess?

St. Louis is an even softer 'players coach' than DJ ever was. Hopefully the results continue to show for the foreseeable future!

Leafs are playing well but I think they will start to struggle after 20-25 games.

If there's ever a time for St.Louis to toughen up and get Hutson to chill on carrying the puck it's now. He had some brutal give aways last night. The kid has skill and talent, but he isn't fast enough to pull off some of the moves he's trying

I agree, I would pay that price any day of the week, and even twice on Sunday, for Ullmark. Kasty is essentially an irrelevant player; you could replace him with anyone, and there would be no difference. However, goaltenders of Ullmark's caliber are a rarity.

This article was put out on the 18th ahead of the Tampa game

In reference to the Perron Pinto Amadio line before the juggle .

Everyone wants goals and assists but its about winning games and these guys have been doing their parts ,. The points should follow the underlying numbers

One of the best to ever do it.

I liked Ennis too.
Yeah, this line has been super effective and is only allowed like one goal So far this season. I would call that a premier shutdown line and that's the kind of line that is priceless. I'm not worried about the offense. All three of those guys have a nose for the net and when the opportunity comes they'll bury it. But keeping the puck out of our net is probably more important. We have two other lines capable of burying the puck at will.

ESPN was running their hockey version of NFL's The Red Zone. They call it ' Frozen Frenzy , they look in on games all night long.

They are going to do this a few more times this year and it's kind of cool. You just sit there and go from goal to goal to goal. I wish they did this with the NHL Network, which is basically like watching the same highlights on repeat all day long.
