Winnipeg 3 detroit 0 in first period. Sweet Dude.
Some boooos ( and not of the Halloween variety) at the end of the first from the hockeytown faithful.

Tampa won against Colorado. They have been pretty good this year (so far). +11 goal differential, the best in the Atlantic division.

Don't think Gregor is playing the Joseph role.

He's a 4th line guy with some PK. 10-13 mins a game

Joseph was a middle 6 guy who'd be moved up the lineup when needed.

Ammadio/Perron are definitely the Joseph type replacements, Gregor is a Kelly type replacement.
Gregor definitely outperforming his role then

Looking no so good for other teams in the Atlantic. Looks like the real deal

Sens traded back to pick JBD (both Roght Shot D) and the last few season it’s been all talk about how the Rangers fleeced the Sens that draft moving up to take Miller - but now Miller has really shown to be soft and not a great hockey IQ and JBD z has passed in terms of reliability and impact to a winning team

Tampa made out like gangbusters in that Sergachev trade

Geekie is going to be a strong core player for their middle 6 soon, and Moser is a strong top pair every situartion guy for them.

Getting 2 young core players and some draft picks is real tidy work

that is two home runs for one at bat.

The Sergachev/Drouin trade, got them 2 cups and a 3rd final. Now this.

Damn fine GM work.

In the Bolts games I’ve watched, I was really impressed by Moser.

Sergachev is still the best player in the deal. Has looked great in Utah.

Utah needed a potential #1 defenseman, which I don't think Moser is or ever will be, and Tampa needed to open up some cap room and add some younger talent.

Looks like a win-win trade to me.

Because of an unnecessary win in the last game of the year against the Leafs in 2021 we went from being able to choose between Brandt Clarke and Dylan Guenther at #8 overall to selecting Tyler Boucher at #10.

Crazy what a difference a single game can make to a franchise.

crazy to see the first 9 names drafted, all hits.

and then #10 Tyler Boucher lol

even the next 6 names after Boucher look like sure NHLers.

It is crazy how much it can impact the future. It took me a while to shake my Craig Anderson hate after his arrival and ruining of their draft status at the time. I remember screaming and swearing at my TV over that quite a bit.

JBD > Keandre Miller

LOL. This isn't even a contest. Miller is so much better than JBD it's not even funny. It's nice to see JBD actually play NHL games but Miller is a top 4 21-22 minute a night guy on a perennial contender, who also happens to have a 43 point season under his belt.

Yeah to be fair if our scouting staff wasn't insane we'd have just taken Sillinger at #10.

Despite being developed terribly he's got 8 points in 9 games for the Blue Jackets now that he's actually gotten some opportunity to produce offense.

What makes it especially annoying is that Sillinger and Coronto were selected right after and it's not like either were soft. Both guys had more PIMs than games played that year in the USHL and were physical players, but unlike Boucher they had really impressive numbers.

Maybe we would have drafted Boucher at #8 overall also?
