Fighting at a hockey game has to be the lowest form of life. When the Rangers come to my place of work and fight to defend my honor, then I'll consider fighting at a hockey game. Fans like this give us all a bad name.
I can't see many of these current Rangers standing up for you. They barely stand up for themselves.

Brooks reported the Flyers could buy out Hayes.
" ...
The great mistake in Philly was committed either by general manager Chuck Fletcher or ownership in refusing to embrace a bottoming-out that might have yielded a best chance at Connor Bedard.
Instead, a professorial John Tortorella is attempting to squeeze points out of a rock based on structure when structures are being overwhelmed by sheer talent.
You know what the three years (after this) on Kevin Hayes’ contract at an annual cap hit of $7,142,857 per should tell anyone?
The buyout, surely inevitable this June unless the Flyers can move No. 13 at 50 percent, will cost the Flyers between $1.61 million and $4.754 million on the cap for each of the following six years"

Do not think they will have to buy him out if they want to trade him for 50%. He is pacing 79 points this season, and for 3,6 Mill caphit it is very good value. He could slot in as a 2. C on a good team for that price. Guess he is worth 1. + young player in the offseason in PHI goes that way.

I'd take him at 50%.

The buyout would be cheaper in year 1 but more expensive year 2 and 3. Year 4-6 would have a cap hit of $1.6M

So, if they are willing to buy him out and pay that price against the cap, I'm sure they'd be willing to trade him with retention.

Middle6 player for $3.6M.

That might the most batshit crazy thing I've read from him... you read that and think the guy fell off a cliff and has 5 points this year. It's not like they have some star RFA they have to sign right now. The guy is scoring at a point per game pace and a buyout is inevitable, WTF ??🤣🤣... and for what reason??? Makes absolutely zero sense at all. Couturier and Hayes are locked up and frankly it's not a bad 1-2 combination at all. They could use a star or 2 but they have a bunch of other guys locked up as well.. maybe they look to completely clear house but I don't see any scenario where they flat out buy Kevin Hayes out 🤣

Its laughable, his contract is about 1 mill too heavy and that wouldn't hinder a move and they'd get something good back. Maybe a Horvat for Hayes deal makes sense.

The Ducks are absurdly bad. Doesn't even seem like they are remotely trying to be competitive. I hope all the shiny skilled picks are worth the losing culture that's being engraved. There is a fine line to tanking, this team shouldn't be this terrible unless it's being encouraged.

Ovi just passed Jagr for most opening goals in NHL history (135)
Just 2 away from 800 now
and he did it with a goalie in net!

they have a shit roster and the few "good" players they have are offense only , also they have a bad coach. But yeah they're tanking for sure.

Of course we couldn't beat them..

And yet they got their first regulation win against the Rangers.
