Balcers on waivers. He would be upgrade over Carpenter
1. Penguins reverse retro looks awesome.
2. Montreal's RR looks pretty good too
3. We will be the ones to end the Devil's streak. At this point, they are playing so damned good all pressure is on them to perform this year. Take that, Lindy.
The fans were probably under the impression that he rejected the Islanders when he was a UFA. He didn't--he said he never even talked to the Islanders.Islander fans booing Gaudreau for what? Lol
Most insecure fanbase in the nhl.
For sure.....and if they find a goalie they will be hard to beat in the East with a decent D and a fast brash bunch up front .Don’t see how anyone can downplay what the Devils are doing.
I said last year their offense was next level dominant on here and they are poised to be really good, really soon, and was scoffed at.
They have all the ingredients to be a dominant team who in the mix for the Cup every year for 5-10 years easily. Impressive rebuild.
Why would you say they are not intimidating? The devils are hot right now and will probably make the playoffs. I hope they do, nothing hits like a Rangers-Devils playoff series and I’m sick of PIT/WAS. But they are not a very intimidating team.

Until teams figure out how to stop them from scoring whenever they feel like it, they will be "intimidating". The fact they aren't heavy doesn't mean much until it matters. You alluded to that for the playoffs, and that makes sense of course, but they are bamboozling the chaff they are playing lately. The devils are hot right now and will probably make the playoffs. Yet they somehow manage to score at will and massively outshoot their opponents while we and other so called contenders struggle.I just look at their roster and on paper its not better than ours or any of the preseason contenders for that matter. Doesn't mean they aren't a good team there's just a lack of top end talent at every position.

It doesn't, agreed. Right now, I don't see the usual suspects being world beaters though. The Knights are clearly the first quarter cream, but NJD aren't too far behind.Yeah I mean they are on a nice heater right now and playing well for the first time in a decade. I don't think that makes them Cup contenders or anything, like some have mentioned.

Ah I forgot Boston. I think the old heads would say to never count Sid out from doing some BS in the 2nd half if they are lurking around. Can't trust that guy to allow his team to fade out the playoff picture, not yet at least.I actually think the 8 eastern playoff teams right now are all going to make it. Casuals will always say the Penguins & Capitals will make it, but old and injured teams usually get older and more injured as the season goes on.

Yeah I've watched some of their games and it's rough. I'm already seeing Shattenkirk mentioned in trade rumors along with Klingberg who people started talking about trading basically the minute Anaheim signed him.Ducks still don’t have a win in regulation.
Vanecek has like a .931 and is 7-1 since the bad opener he had v Detroit, pretty sure that qualifies.
Our centers and defense blow the Rangers out of the water, that's why. And the massive advantage of having Shesterkin for the Rangers isn't evident right now with how Vanecek is playing.
What?Remember when Devils fans were laughing at us for being excited in the regular season? They were right. That was/is funny.
