I like Buch a lot and he's a better player than he's shown in the playoffs, but the hyperbolic narrative about the Rangers trading him needs to die. It had to happen. A lot of the Buch stans elevated him based on their own personal feelings.

He looks slower than he already is too.

He hasn't been Zuccarello in the playoffs bad as hes had his moments, but he isn't playing well either.

The Rangers wound up giving Quebec the 5th pick in the '88 draft....Gelinas, Roenick, Brindamour & Selanne went 7-10 respectively. But the silver lining was Bergeron lasted almost 2 seasons as HC. Hockey is different here.
