I'd trade a 4th round pick for Rempe just because of the fear factor.... for the roster players of getting demoted to the AHL to play with Rempe.

what Pierre LeBrun has speculated it is absolutely too much for Panthers.
If i'm not mistaken Avalanche actually is the only team who can pay max 8yrs extension for Rantanen.

Defence and goaltending needs absolutely immidiate help.
Bob is getting older every year and Knight has his own problems.
So it is about a time to start think what to do with Bob or Knight if not both.

That's for sure Zito has lots of work to do into next off-season.
But lets see first is there any Panthers moves into trade deadline.

We absolutely don't need offense. We are 5th in GF at 5v5 and dominant on the pp and scoring SH. And Samo should develop a lot more, plus we should get something out of Devine/St. Martin/Sawchyn/Vilmanis. We need to shore up everything else, but offense is not a concern at all and hasn't been for several seasons.

Yea. I don't get Raffi Torres-craziness vibes from Rempe. I think he'll smarten up (or his NHL career is pretty shortlived). But anyone who claims that they wouldn't want Rempe in their prospect pool in any circumstance is straight up lying.

I just saw the top ten defensemen thread on the mains and, as much as I hate to say it, I think a lot of posters here don't watch much outside of their own teams.

Hedman and McAvoy are severely, severely overrated. Hedman on (deserved) past reputation, and McAvoy because, I don't know, Bruins fans eat paste and are very loud?

i think his expulsion was the real turning point for the franchise (set the stage for horny later in the year...).

he was a face of the franchise and considered a scrappy player but he was, in reality, one of the players holding the team back. it was a signal to the young guys that the times they are a changin'.
