Man the 2nd and 3rd STL goals both look pretty bad on Hellebuyck, even with the stupid turnover and break down in defense communication.

One period left, WPG still got time.

That stupid Ehlers penalty near the end of the second period was just that, stupid.

Rather than this idea that Hellebuyck somehow becomes bad just because it's the playoffs, isn't it just a lot likelier that the Jets play him too much during the season and he is worn down? Same story with all of the heavy-workload guys, who tend to be the ones who underperform.

Or he's jellybuck when it's on the line

This is beyond being tired. Through 6 game it was pretty much historically bad.

Important guys underperforming is indeed the reason teams lose but I don’t think it’s being tired. Certainly not for relatively young guys.

Fatigue is what you likely saw from a guy like Luongo, where some jitters + fatigue led to some brutal games combined with some absolutely brilliant ones.

I’ve never seen a goalie have their play drop this much in the playoffs. MVP candidate into worse than playoff Dan Cloutier.

Binngton it’s really having a nice career resurgence here.

He barely gets upset anymore, he’s maturing

When you stop stirring the muddy silt with furious currents and crashing waves, everything becomes clearer and you shall achieve tranquility.

Pretty thin Team Canada going to the WHC. But I did a double take at Ty Ronning - he had a bonkers, ridiculous season in Germany. Dwarfed his totals from last season.

Reinforcements coming. Crosby/MacK with Celebrini/Fantilli would be nice.

Tough for the Jets when you have a regular season Vezina goalie that chokes like nobody else in the playoffs. You either hope he gets over the choking or you trade him away.

He was .923 in march and .919 in April. He got tired real fast if that's the argument for playoffs because he gave up 6 goals total in his last 4 regulat season games.

It just too sharp a decline.

Ehlers looks completely gassed and out of shape. Having him, Petey, and DeBrusk in our top 6 would be infuriating
