Going to have to get comfortable with the new numbers fast.

What’s the projection here, he is going to be a 60pt player?
Absolute bargain. He's a decent bet to be a perennial 30 goal/75 point player and now locked up for his prime.

Expect a similar contract for Lekkerimaki if he pops 40-50 points next year.

If he puts up 75 points the contract is a steal.

I’m guessing the projection is more about him being a consistent 55-60 point guy, which given the new cap reality is a completely reasonable contract for a young guy putting up those kind of numbers.

Where you get in trouble is giving money to second line wingers who’s production could fall off a cliff at any point once they’re on the other side of 30.

33 players this season put up 75 points or better. Another 16 got between 70-74.

So, 49 in total. That is an average of 1.5 per team. Obviously, some would be there on a PPG basis, but the old adage or your availability is an ability applies.

Let’s hope lekkerimaki has a similar d4 year like Coronato just had.
This past season was his first full time in the NHL. Got into like 34 games the prior season with the rest in the A. Spot is there for Lekky to earn it.

Oettinger and Hellebuyck are such chokers.

More than that...DeBoer is total crap in the playoffs.

Oh the drama lol
Don't care who wins but Mackinnon is a beast love how he plays
