Good Gawd Amighty, looking like going to 3rd o/t. I hope that crowd brought food and a change of clothes so they could just go on to work when this game is over.

You're not going to have a crack at a talent like Kane unless you have a top 3 pick (and that depends on the draft year). Not often a player of his caliber is moved and guys like that hitting free agency these days doesn't happen too often either. The last time the Kings had a forward who had a similar skill set was when they had this guy in uniform:

I'd have a hard time stomaching Chicago getting another Cup and one-upping the Kings. No, I would support any team, including the Ducks, that could take them out.
The thing is, if Chicago enters overtime in a playoff game, they're probably going to win that game. They've got that extra gear and that mental strength not to choke it away. You've got to TAKE that victory away from them. The Blackhawks aren't going to beat themselves.

I think if the Rags dump the Pens, Rutherford and Johnston could be gone, even after only one year.
Pretty certain Johnston signed a short term deal anyhow.

I honestly think the Wild are going to take the West this year, dunno why but they have that feel to them, my only concern Finals wise is the Canadians. They magically find ways to get helped...

i think we see a MIN vs. NYR final
the Wild are playing very good hockey at both ends, they have the most consistent D and 'tending in the West at this point. i see them advancing.
ANH and CHI are to inconsistent when it comes to those two areas.
hoping for a NYI vs. NYR match up....that will be absolutely crazy if it happens.
