Good Gawd Amighty, looking like going to 3rd o/t. I hope that crowd brought food and a change of clothes so they could just go on to work when this game is over.
Kings just don't have anyone who's willing to go into those dirty areas near the crease. Takes someone who's not afraid to take the abuse that goes with that.Yeah and when you have someone as dangerous as Kane on the ice, it just helps open the ice for others. Which the Kings don't have. Kane just makes the other team nervous when he's on the ice.

Someone's gotta beat the Blackhawks. It won't be Nashville.
What's the longest Kings playoff game?
If Chicago going to the Cup Final means that the Ducks have no crack at the Cup, then I'm all for the Hawks.

Definitely!
Game 5 2014 Stanley Cup Final.
You're not going to have a crack at a talent like Kane unless you have a top 3 pick (and that depends on the draft year). Not often a player of his caliber is moved and guys like that hitting free agency these days doesn't happen too often either. The last time the Kings had a forward who had a similar skill set was when they had this guy in uniform:
Why do the Blues struggle in the playoffs despite having a 'playoff type' team?

Still boggles my mind how Rutherford could make that Neal trade. Terrible.
I honestly think the Wild are going to take the West this year, dunno why but they have that feel to them, my only concern Finals wise is the Canadians. They magically find ways to get helped...
