Chiarelli already trying to turn the Oilers into the Bruins lmao

I don't see him working out in Edmonton if he can't work with what he's got

What he's got will not work. Right now they are just a collection of offensively skilled young guys mixed in with some borderline NHL players. There is zero depth, zero team defense, zero goaltending, etc. Meanwhile, the window until McDavid's next contract starts now, and they gotta be smart with what they do during this time

Must be so embarrassing for Crosby. What was Lemieux and co. thinking when they hired Rutherford? They got worse from last year.

From what I heard Lemieux gets pretty crazy behind the scenes. His signature is all over this **** show though. Arguably the most overrated team in the entire league. Very impressed with Fleury though.

The one season Fleury plays well, Malkin goes into a slump and everyone else takes an early summer vacation.

Even if they had defensive issues due to injuries, it's no excuse for not scoring with the talent they have.

You're right, there is no excuse that they can't generate offense. Generational talents are supposed to be that good, that's why they're supposedly generational. Penguins fans will surely be happy with their "Who are the top 2 players in the league" polls they'll start in the off-season, though. So early congrats on those upcoming victories.

This is one hell of an idea. I think I'll go start one on the main boards right now.

I really wish they would revisit that tweet

'Still waiting on that drink offer Penguins...'

They did

"offer still stands" or something like that. On mobile so can't do it right now.

Also heard there was quite the **** show with Anderson and prust, can't wait to see that when i'm home.

What the Oilers have, doesn't work, Chiarelli is a great hire.

Well, he needs to turn them into something other than...the Oilers.

Might as well try to make them more like the Bruins since that is the style of play in the Western Conference.

The core of McDavid, Hall, Nuge, Eberle, Yakupov, Nurse, and Klefbom is not going to be able to play Bruins hockey, plain and simple. This core could be very successful as a offensive minded, speedy team. What they need is depth.

Um, they have this new thing called a trade. It works great in situations where the new GM wants to change his team's style of play.

That's why you hire a New GM/President, with a plan to change the core. The Oilers problem is they never had a proper core. How do you have a legit (Core) with no 1 Defender, or 1 Goalie ?

You don't.

The new management will change that.

Bwahahaha, gotta love the Kings twitter. That just made my morning.

Time for the Isles to go on a 14 game winning streak

The Nassau is rocking early. I love the old barns. Miss the Boston Garden, the Aud in Buffalo, MLG, the Stadium in Chitown.

The old arenas had character and a certain atmosphere that the newer just don't in my opinion.
