Kesler has added an element to the Ducks that Richards added to the Kings in 2012. Upgrading from Koivu to Kesler is on par with Stoll to Richards.

The ducks look like they can play with confidence now because they don't have to worry about the Kings at all.

Yeah, now we can see why no one wanted the Kings in the playoffs...we're at least a pain in the ass and a hard out, even at half speed.

The Kings may not have made it past the Ducks {depending on which team showed up}, but they would've put up a better fight and not got swept . The Jets looked out matched at times and just crapped the bed from the 3rd period on.

Shame the Kings just didn't have enough of any one thing this year. Nobody has been overly impressive in the playoffs. It could've been there for the taking again. Next year will be big. If they don't manage to do it then, it'll only get tougher and tougher to do it after that.

Why? We won the Cup in 2012 without the Ducks in the playoffs. I hate Anaheim but that post is making our fan base look foolish.

They also swept the Jets during the regular season, going 7-0 against Winnipeg.

Meanwhile, the Kings were 1-1-1 against the Jets. Yuck.

Well I'm glad I was locked out of the USA broadcast after changing the channel. No point in watching the Quacks and their fugly jerseys sweeping a weak opponent.

The Kings should be angry at themselves for missing the playoffs, so much so that they come out like gangbusters next season and pile up points early on.
